Over the last 20 years, I have been on a quest to learn as much as I can about my ancestors. I have committed their names to memory and have learn bits and pieces of their life experiences of sacrifice, humiliation, and loss, all overcame by small yet monumental moments of honor, dedication, and hard work.
Although the patriarchs of my family have since passed, I hope that I can honor their stories in this forum and begin to shape a new generation of family gatekeepers. I want to help you to do the same.
Whether you are an amateur researcher, a seasoned one, or have no idea on where to begin your search but have a desire to know more about yourself and your history, My Gullah Is here to help you on this journey. All you have to possess is the desire to know more about yourself and your history.
I cannot wait to help you preserve your future!
